Five Recommended Balding Solutions Including Highend Men Shampoo

By Brian Scott

About 80% of men experience a common problem of hair thinning before they reach 50, some start as early as 21. There are several types of hair loss conditions, e. G., Alopecia areata and telogen effluvium which can be cured. There is no cure for pattern baldness though, however, there are some balding solutions and some Highend men shampoo for men which slow down the process. Unlike women, hair thinning typically occurs at the front or top of the head for men.

There are 2 types of scientifically proven medication which can be used to slow down or solve the baldness issue, vasodilators and antiandrogens. An example of a vasodilator is Minoxidil Topical, it widens the blood vessels and thus promotes hair growth. This medication can be found in a form of a gel, solution or foam and it is to be applied to the affected area on the scalp. As soon as a person stops applying it on the scalp, hair loss will commence again.

Human bodies react differently when introduced to new medication, some respond well while others don t. The worst possible reaction is when the body rejects the medication and speed up the hair thinning process making it worse. Some get a positive response but with added side effects. This medication sometimes makes the hair to not grow only on the bald scalp but to grow all over the body, it may cause irritation on the scalp and makes the legs to swell.

Another type of medication is Finasteride, it is an antiandrogen. It prevents testosterone from converting to dihydrotestosterone (DHT), the more DHT is produced on hair follicles, the higher the risk of hair loss. It may be taken orally as a pill or alternatively as an injection. Discontinuation of use will result in recommencement of baldness. Both of this medication can be found over the counter.

Testosterone and DHT are the hormones that distinguish a man from a woman. So when the quantity of DHT is reduced, men may suffer from things like lack of libido and the inability to hold an erection long enough to be able to have sexual intercourse. Furthermore, their breasts may develop and start to enlarge and be tender. One other side effect that may be caused by Finasteride is body rash.

Unfortunately, some side effects may last longer even after a person stops to take this pill, some, like male infertility, may last for a life time. Some men may get depressed while others may develop cancerous cells on their breasts because of the changes induced by the pills.

For those who don t like taking medication every day, hair transplantation may be a solution for baldness. Hair follicles from the unaffected area may be taken and transplanted on the bald area. Alternatively, the affected scalp area may be reduced, the disadvantage of this is that the scar formed during the reduction process may spread with time. Both of these surgical procedures are quite expensive. Most hair transplant patients are satisfied with the results.

The last solution is to wear synthetic hair like wigs and natural looking hairpieces. It is the only solution that does not have the potential of causing adverse effects on the user s body and health.
