Is Unicorn Poo The Perfect Party Bag Filler?

By Dennis Myers

At the end of a kids party when you were tired and sticky and reluctant to leave, a party bag would be pushed into your hands as you walked out of the house. Inside would be sweets and toys and maybe even a slice of birthday cake. It was and still is the perfect end to a party. So, what are mums putting in these bags nowadays? Unicorn poo!

Party bags have gone through many changes through the years and there will always be parents who are keen to be the most politically correct and health-conscious parents out there. The truth is though, that kids don't care about any of that and when they open a party bag they want to find sweets and toys that will make them laugh.

You would have to have lived in a cave to have missed the recent unicorn trend. They are everywhere, on t-shirts, cuddly toys, games, TV shows, films, it is impossible to escape them. With children, they are particularly popular but adults love them too. One benefit of this trend is that the cost of toys and merchandise has gone down considerably.

The basics of this peculiar product are very simple and have actually been popular for a very long time. It has been re-packaged and marketed as something new every few years and it never fails to disappoint. This silly, squishy putty has many uses and now that it is glittery and brightly coloured it is irresistible, even if it did come out of a unicorn's bottom.

This poo isn't just for children. Adults can also have a great deal of fun with it. They can use it to sculpt with, just as they would use clay. It is also very good for relieving stress. Just about anything can be used as a stress ball, but poo from unicorns has a weird charm when you are angry or frustrated.

For kids the uses are endless. Children can make just about anything fun with a little imagination, so this type of thing offers hours of fun. They can incorporate it into an imagination game or use it with their other unicorn toys, allowing them to enter an entire world of magical creatures. They can also use it to create sculptures of their own.

This little addition could be just the start. Unicorn parties are wildly popular at the moment and sure to make your child's day. They are also very simple to organize. The key components are rainbows and glitter. You could even play pin the horn on the unicorn, for a fun twist on the old favourite game. Don't forget the unicorn horn crown for the birthday boy or girl.

If, however, your child isn't particularly fascinated by the animal, poo will always be a firm favourite with kids. In fact, anything disgusting, squelchy or embarrassing is perfect for kids, so it really makes an ideal addition to a party bag, no matter how old they are or whether they are boys or girls. Everyone loves these squishy toys.
